The seminarian students of the Saint Paul Seminary Foundation in Silang, Cavite were blessed with an informative and enlightening two-day workshop and medical mission facilitated respectively by Mrs. Yvette Solina Salih and her husband Dr. Dakhil T. Salih.
Throughout the sessions, the seminarians revisited the foundational rules of English including reading comprehension and sentence construction, vital skills not only for effective communication but also for proclaiming the Gospel with clarity and conviction.
Running simultaneously with the workshop was a medical mission conducted by Dr. Dakhil T. Salih, who carefully reviewed the seminarians’ medical records and provided personalized advice on maintaining overall well-being. The medical checkups aimed to promote preventive care and health awareness, both essential for sustaining one’s vocation and mission.
The two-day event concluded with words of gratitude from Rev. Fr. Norman Melchor Peña, SSP, Ph.D., Seminary Rector and Dean of Studies, who expressed heartfelt thanks on behalf of the entire seminary community. Both Mrs. Salih and Dr. Salih were warmly appreciated by the seminarians and formators for their time, generosity, and commitment to holistic formation.
