Outreach: SPSF Students Share Joy and Creativity with Casa Dei Bambini Children

Silang, Cavite – November 11, 2024 – Students from Saint Paul Seminary Foundation (SPSF) recently brought smiles and laughter to the children of Casa Dei Bambini Home for Children, one of Cavite’s largest orphanages for girls, located in Lalaan 1, Silang. Organized by Ma’am Kathryn Salvan’s class, the outreach program on November 9, 2024, provided a heartwarming opportunity for connection and creative expression.
Casa dei Bambini, owned and administered by the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, provides a nurturing home for abandoned, neglected, and orphaned children. Established in 2000, the orphanage follows in the footsteps of Blessed Maria Schinina’, the founder of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, who prioritized providing shelter, care, and education for the less fortunate.

The SPSF students engaged the children in a variety of fun and enriching activities, including singing, dancing, coloring, clay-making, and puzzle games. The shared experiences fostered a sense of joy and connection, creating lasting memories for both the students and the children.

The outreach program underscores SPSF’s commitment to community engagement and its mission to instill in students the value of service. The event served as a powerful reminder of the positive impact that shared experiences and acts of kindness can have on individuals and the community.
